My Family
Tom and I met when I was a Private in the Army, he was a Captain. We were both stationed at Ft.Bragg,NC. If you belive his story, he will tell you I was just looking for an Officer to marry. My story, it was Love at first sight! I knew I would marry this man before he ever asked me out.
Here we are, 15 years later, and still very much in love. As you can see, we have Joshua who just turned 11 and Jessica who just turned 9. I am a stay at home Mom, and I love my life. It couldn't get any better than this.
We have moved 8 times in the past 12 years, living in Panama and 5 different states.It is hard to move every couple of years, but we love seeing new places and meeting new people. We leave Ft.Benning June 2000, with no idea where we will go next. I proudly wear the T-Shirt Army Wife...Hardest Job in the Army, believe me, it's true!
While Tom has had his military career to keep him busy, and my need to be something more than Tom's wife or the kids Mom...I started Tole Painting about 8 years ago. When I started, like most stay at home Mom's it was just something to keep me busy. Years later, it is my career path. I am a Primitive Folk Artist. Here you can see some of my work.
